Nova Talent are hiring an experienced Technical Coordinator for a leading UK Confectionery Distributor, based across two sites in Loughborough and Sutton-in-Ashfield. This is a brand new opening to be part of an inspiring and dedicated team, reporting in to the Senior Product Technologist.

A typical day as a Technical Coordinator:
Daily management of all incoming Technical queries through the Technical inbox, coordination and escalation to other team members as required
Respond to general enquiries and general information requests
Complete customer specific technical documents ensuring commercial confidentiality is maintained
Highlight any complaint trends to the Technical teams
Generate or follow through to root cause and close out any Supplier non-conformances raised by the business
Generate and communicate KPIs to the business
Request and log product specifications and relevant documents from suppliers
Complete the review of product specifications and technical documents for live products at pre-determined intervals
Build and maintain external customer and supplier relationships with both technical and product development teams
What we are looking for:
Technical and quality experience within the food manufacturing
Outstanding attention to detail with excellent administrative and strong communication skills
Good relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholders
An understanding of the principles of GMP and Global Food Safety Initiatives
Be data driven and analytical
Must have access to own car and driving licence
