Together we are seeking to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer to join the HR Head Office Team, based in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an analytical and confident individual, that likes to take ownership of their work.

Salary of £25,000 - £27,000/pa

A typical day as a Payroll Officer:

Monthly payroll input (front office), including salary sacrifice schemes, overtime worked, company pension contributions. Finalise by manual reconciliation ensuring precision, ready for submission.

Be the first port of call supporting the wider HR team in dealing with any Payroll queries, ensuring the resolution in a timely manner.

Accurately collate and provide reports for key stakeholders in the business, within the agreed timeframes includes absence data, attritions rates, overtime and annual hours reports.

Support the introduction to the business for new starters. Deliver key business information at Induction.

Ensure the training system is kept up to date with new starters added and leavers processed.

Audit the HRIS system, to ensure all up to date and compliant.

What we are looking for:

Previous payroll input experience.

High attention to detail.

Innovative and creative approach.

Excellent written English and grammatical knowledge.

IT Skills Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Database Management.

Flexible approach, highly organised and effective time management skills.

Driven induvial, and happy to take ownership of the role as this is a stand alone position within the HR Team.
