About this role

Nova Talent are working with a provider of bespoke distribution solutions, in their search for an experienced Export Supervisor. The successful candidate will need to have leadership skills and a minimum of 4 years shipping experience. Some of the benefits you will receive as a Export Supervisor:

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Hours: Monday Friday, 9am 5pm

Other benefits: 28 including bank holidays, company events, casual dress & onsite parking

Location: Basildon

What we are looking for in an Export Supervisor:

  • Freight Forwarding / Shipping environment.
  • Ocean and Transport experience.
  • High level of computer literacy and communication skills.
  • Strong team leader, with the ability to motivate team members.
  • Able to take on responsibility of daily tasks and manage their own workload.
  • Organisational skills, managing deadlines and meeting targets.
  • Salary will be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.

Duties of the Export Supervisor to include, but not limited to:

  • Managing Export shipping operations, including documentation, scheduling and tracking.
  • Communicating with customers and suppliers daily.
  • Liaising with other departments within the business to ensure operations run smoothly.
  • Leading and supervising a team, ensuring teams workload.
  • Negotiating with suppliers and keeping up with communications.
  • Ensuring high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
