We are currently recruiting a Decision Support Specialist to join a UK Leading Agronomic Advice and Product Supplier, within the Agricultural Sector. Reporting in to the Senior Decision Support Specialist the successful candidate will be based from home visiting and assisting clients within the Shropshire area. You will focus on the sale of precision farming products and services, which includes tractor technology, soil sampling, drones and GPS tracking. Within this unique role you will ensure the highest levels of customer service and company standards are delivered.
What we are looking for:
Agriculture/Farming Experience
Tractor Driving and/or Maintenance Experience
Soil Health & Sampling
Business Development Experience
Sound knowledge of IT systems such as Excel & Word
Duties to include but not limited to:
- To provide support on soil and crop management by gaining insights and offering products and services to maximise the raising of crops and soil health, within your designated client base.
- Coordinate comprehensive precision farming services in field - such as soil GPS mapping, ensuring a good relationship is maintained with soil sampling contractors.
- Process precision data, including variable rate fertiliser and seed maps, provide variable rate recommendations and create prescription files.
- Provide a high level of customer support throughout your area, including face to face customer meetings, both individually and in large groups where necessary. Also provide growers with result interpretation where required.
- Working closely with the Decision Support Manager to increase sales of services and promotion products.
- Deliver advice on rural consultancy products, supporting Agronomists with sales and the implementation of services.
- Ensure invoices are raised and processed within the agreed timeframes for both suppliers and customers, liaising with internal stakeholders when issues arise.
- Whilst attending events and meetings, act as company representative and ambassador at all times.
