Nova Talent are working with a new and innovative company that is experiencing continual growth, we are working together in sourcing a Crew Manager to join the Team based in Shireoaks, near Worksop.

Working alongside the Senior Operations Manager the successful candidate will plan and prioritise individual activities towards achieving the departmental plan, contractual specifications and agreed overall business aims.

Duties to include:

Act as a member of the wider HR team in supporting, liaising and developing effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.

Conduct appraisals for all reports within your jurisdiction and identify areas for development.

Undertake HR processes in response to quality, performance or conduct concerns.

Be responsible for the documentation of training and appraisals records for all colleagues.

Identify opportunities to improve the organisations processes and practices.

Provide key data and KPI information in relation to training compliance, absence management & appraisal completion dates.

Provide supervision and support to the shop floor employees (Customs Agents).

Liaise with Team Leaders to work through performance management issues.

Conduct daily timekeeping, attendance and absence monitoring.

To carry out Return to Work interviews.

Ensure WTD adherence, with particular focus on break times being taken.

Daily finalisation checks, ensuring rostering processes are adhered to and employees shifts are completed.

Act as a role model for other staff, promoting best practice and sharing ideas.

Required for the role:

Confident communication with people at all levels, with a style that is clear, engaging, coaching and collaborative whilst at times of challenge can hold your own.

Demonstrate strong partnership working with a variety of stakeholders.

Sound understanding of HR processes, procedures, and regulations.

Previous experience within a Business/HR Support role.

Salary and Benefits:

Up to £30,000/pa

29 Days holiday including Bank Hols, rising with length of service
