Nova Talent are working with a leading Agricultural support company in their search for an experienced Credit Controller, to join the Credit Control Team based at the Head Office in Nottingham.
This is a fixed term contract position for 12 months, with flexitime offering working 36.25 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Resolution of account queries to ensure timely payments, ensuring communication with the Sales Teams & Customers.
Liaise with internal stakeholders in relation to account queries such as credit limits and account stops.
Request and issue all overdue account reminders, anticipating later problems where possible for early action via telephone.
Approve customer credit limits and payment terms, keeping debt risk to a minimum.
Provide customer balance reports to the Commercial Team, outlining the credit chase cycle of each account.
Creation and management of price agreements.
Provide finance scheme information when available to relevant customers, liaising with the external finance company to submit proposals and chase progress.
Open of new accounts within agreed limits, obtaining status reports, authority to deliver.
- Act as full member of the Credit Control team, providing cover for other members of the department, ensuring that the department continues to function efficiently during any other team member absence.
Requirement for the role:
Customer centric approach.
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Credit Controller.
Able to make decisions without supervision.
Keen eye for attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- IT Skills Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Database Management.
- ICM Qualified
Salary & Benefits:
£27,000-£28,000 basic salary
