Our client is an international Construction Machinery Manufacturer that currently employs 9000 people worldwide, collectively we are recruiting a Yard Operative to join the Service Team based at their UK Head Office in Newark, Nottinghamshire.

As a Yard Operative your duties and responsibilities will include:

Supervising the Loading & Unloading of vehicles on site.

Liaising with/instructing Lorry drivers as they enter the premises.

Inspection of machines to ensure they have all parts and accessories ready for dispatch.

Signing of delivery ticket with driver and ensuring all returned to sales office.

Ensuring the Health & Safety of the yard area.

Monitor and maintain yard area, ensuring it remains lean & tidy

Stock management.

Parking and moving vehicles around yard area.

Control of waste and recycling area.

Acceptance of delivery tickets for machines in and ensure sales office aware of all machine arrivals.

Checking machines have all accessories on arrival, new/used/customer.

Ensuring Aquadetox (Water Recycling) system is maintained.

What we are looking for:

Previous experience within a Yard environment is advantageous.

A keen eye for attention to detail.

A right first time approach to your work.
